Policy/programme Analysis and Formulation

A good problem analysis and programme formulation are prerequisites for successful implementation. Because of our experience with complex institutional programmes and our technical knowledge of programme formulation and logical framework analysis (LFA), we have been involved in the design of new programmes and in the analysis of development policies.

Some examples are:

• Formulation of a social forestry extension and research programme as part of the Agricultural Sector Support Programme in Zimbabwe, funded by the Danish government
• Formulation of a policy study on forestry and biodiversity (country study of Zimbabwe for IAC/Dutch government)
• Analysis of the environmental sector support policy and recommendations for the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Pakistan
